my brain is mashed potatoes.

really.  my brain is mush.  i've had my head in math theory books for the last week, and this post was all i could do to not sit and stare blankly at the wall.  the exam was a three and a half hour long nightmare.  i'm glad it's over, but am going to be on the verge of an anxiety attack until i get my grade back.  ahh.

this weekend went by way too fast, as i was constantly on the go.  although i did get some spare time to decorate the christmas tree i got yesterday, which is one of my favorite things about this time of year.  my entire apartment smells like a fir tree and i love it.

currently on the couch watching bad infomercials trying not to think of how busy this upcoming week will be.  between work, school, and this volunteer thing (and a lot of yoga to try and keep my anxiety levels to a minimum), i just know i'm going to be stretched pretty thin.

however, it is my birthday on wednesday.  alright!

still not over this hi-lo trend.  dress from akira.  vera wang lavender boots.  appropriate for the warmer temperatures we had this weekend.  going to keep it short this time.  have and enjoyable week!

winter is coming.

happy monday.  did everyone have an enjoyable thanksgiving and a good weekend?  i know i did, but it went by awfully fast.  also, the temperatures really dropped over the weekend, so i've finally got a chance to pull out my warmest sweaters and test them against the cold and snow.  i got this sweater on my recent trip to chicago, and love how thick and cozy it is.  not to mention the purple-black color combination going on.

how do you stay warm during winter without sacrificing a good look?
